Elder Family Matters Ltd has been enabling older people to stay in their own homes in the wider Wellington region (including Hutt Valley, Porirua basin, Kapiti coast, and Wairarapa) since early 2001. The company engages and reimburses the best quality Carers who support their Clients in a way similar to caring family. Whatever the need is, we can be relied on to respond with wise hands and good hearts in providing the following:

| Elder Family Matters Limited has been operating since 2001, providing high quality care at home services to older Wellingtonians in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
We provide support to people in the wider Wellington region (including Wellington City, Porirua basin, Kapiti coast, Hutt Valley, and the Wairarapa). Sons and daughters may live locally, away from Wellington or off-shore, or may be unable to “be there” for their parents as much as they would like. Elder Family Matters Ltd supports their parents in a way similar to caring family. Whatever the need is, we can be relied on to respond with wise hands and good hearts. Assistance with daily tasks includes personal cares, housework, driving, shopping, and preparing tasty, nutritious meals. We liaise with GPs and pharmacists as appropriate. Social support means having warm, interested conversations and going out walking, shopping, for a drive and afternoon tea. We link people back into past pleasures such as the movies, the theatre, galleries. We are also often engaged to take people who live in residential care out on a regular basis. Our trusted associates are engaged as needed. They include podiatrists, plumbers, handymen, hairdressers and more.
