| "As I have been a visitor to Melrose for nearly six years, I wish to let you know how very nice I have found many things at your home. It is always lovely and clean, no dust on the furniture and the staff are always very nice. I'm an elderly lady and if the day comes I should go into a home, Melrose I would choose." 7/5/2012
"I cannot recomment the Melrose complex enough. The staff at Rosewood are a wonderful, caring, empathetic, passionate group and the care they provide would rival any that is provided elsewhere. All the staff are fantastic. Whilst not aesthetically ideal, Rosewood/Maplewood have a "heart" and as such are far superior to other premises which look "pretty" but don't have the same "love" for the residents. I have recommended Melrose to many" 7/8/11 "We would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to the excellent team at Melrose for the outstanding care of our mother over the 7 years she as been with them and for their frienship to her and her extended family". 11 July 2011 |

| This is a small, 12 bed secured unit with permanent staff rotating shifts. Very homely and easily accessable for family members to visit any time of the day. Due to the fact that this is a small unit, the settling-in period appears to be quick and the residents feel secure because it is one long passage with rooms along side, lounge and dining area at each end. The broad passage provide a lot of walking area for residents to pass each other with ease. A fenced-in garden allows residents to have free access to outside. Beautifull views surround all bedrooms. The spaciousness avoid any closed-in feeling by the residents. |
