This is a consumer advocacy service for all users of health and disability services. The service is provided as part of a group of consumer protection measures provided by the Health and Disability Commissioner’s Act, 1994. Its purpose is:
* to help people to resolve issues with or complaints about a health and disability service provider * to provide rights information through education and promotion * to act on the instructions of the consumer if requested It is free, independent and confidential. Access may be by phone, fax, visit or letter. Home visits can be made. Our facility also offers these services: |
