| We meet on the first Monday of each month at The Greenmeadows East Community Hall in Tait Drive at 7.30 pm. The exceptions to this are "Queens Birthday" when we have another meeting at the end of May instead of the June meeting; there is no meeting in January. We have our Christmas Party at the normal meeting date in December.
We are quite a friendly bunch and visitors are always welcome. Our meetings are reasonably informal. We have a "Herb of the Month" usually a speaker and a demonstration. We have a good library. The books cover a range of herb topics and related subjects. Members can borrow books at a nominal charge. There is also a bring and buy table and a multi-raffle. At the end of each meeting there is always a herbal tea, a chat and some tasty nibbles. Just outside the kitchen there is a small herb garden. From time to time we organise workshops, displays and some trips as required. |
