Special Features
Bainfield Park is situated on an attractive elevated setting of 9 acres on the outskirts of Invercargill. The property is well established as bush-land to the south, with sprawling lawns leading to farm-land to the north. Our location enables us to be close to all city facilities including a shopping centre, supermarket, churches, doctors and public transportation. We do however, also have the advantage of the tranquility of our rural setting without close neighbours and city hustle and bustle. The entire building has an approved sprinkler and fire evacuation system for added protection and staff are available 24 hours per day to meet the needs of the Residents.

Interests And Activities
Activity programme Programme runs 7 days per week now. Activities during the week are planned with our more senior Residents in mind. Weekend programme has a younger focus although everyone is welcome to take part. We are fortunate to have a large 6 room area for our Activities programme to be based. This is the last remaining area come under the builders hammer! We are planning an entirely new multi - purpose area which will house a computer suite, wet activity area, kitchen facility with disabled access to allow food skills classes, large dividable room for crafts,meetings,training,functions etc. Activities include housie, swimming, golf, croquet, quiz, music, handcrafts, woodwork,van outings - shows, movies, church shopping, concerts, beach, picnics and touring. Other services include, Age Concern, Art, BBQ, Big print books, Billiards, Bingo, Blind Foundation, Board games, Breakfast in bed, Cards, Care and Craft, Concerts, Cooking, Craft, Dancing, Email, Entertainers, Exercises, Fax, Flower arranging, Games, Gardening, Holidays, Indoor Games, Interdenominational, Jigsaw, Library, Massage, Meal choices, Newspaper reading, Parties, Pastoral care, Pool table, Reading, Senior Citizens, Sing-a-longs, Visitors
