Special Features
Cambridge Resthaven's Village Co-ordinator is employed to care for the cottage and apartment residents. Monthly visits are made to each resident to ensure general well-being and manageability in the home.

The Village Co-ordinator nurtures the opportunity to develop a community spirt amongst the residents in the cottage community. This is apparent in the social programme of activities and outings that are organised from month to month. Ideas and requests are welcome.

Resident meetings are held every three months in the main complex, an opportunity for general discussion with fellow residents and management.

The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (hereafter referred to as The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who buy into a retirement village. If you intend to purchase you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Further information about Retirement Villages is available in the section 'Frequent Questions'. Some Retirement Villages are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please do your homework.
