Mission Statement:
“Enriching life for older citizens in Mid Canterbury.” Vision: We are committed to providing high quality services that meet the unique physical, psychological and spiritual needs of those that reside in our supported living community. Philosophy: Christian principles guide our lives, encourage positive, respectful relationships and provide the framework for holistic care and support partnerships within the community. We believe • In the value and worth of every human life throughout the lifespan • That age or disability is not a barrier to happiness, fulfilment or the right to experience good health, have fun and spend time with those whom we care about. • That, regardless of age, independence, autonomy and choice is integral to self determination, and to mental and emotional well being. Where needed, this includes advocacy support. • That quality of life and well being is enhanced through adequate, appropriate and timely support in an environment that meets individual needs and which encourages active community involvement and participation. • That housing for older people should be designed to maximise physical abilities, provide safety and security and an enriched environment within the local community. Quality Objectives: We aim to • Provide services that reflect the holistic needs of people living in our supported living units. • Maintain or improve health and well being for residents in our supported living community. • Be proactive and responsive to changing community needs for older citizens • Maintain a charitable focus to support the overall Church mission • Remain a solvent and viable commercial operation |

The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (hereafter referred to as The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who buy into a retirement village. If you intend to purchase you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Further information about Retirement Villages is available in the section 'Frequent Questions'. Some Retirement Villages are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please do your homework.
